We’ve been consistent and passionate supporters of the arts, sport, local charities, schools and community groups since day one. Giving Ground is our ‘do-gooding’ series, produced in collaboration with a variety of organisations to support a diverse range of social causes. Midsumma Festival is Australia's premier LGBTQIA+ cultural festival, celebrating queer artists and cultural diversity, through curating queer cultural experiences. Stomping Ground has been a proud partner since 2017, and as part of our commitment, we create a limited edition beer, PRIDElweiss. Proceeds from every PRIDElweiss sold is donated to Midsumma Futures, a mentoring program which supports emerging LGBTQIA+ artists, and over the 6 years of partnership, Stomping Ground has raised over $70,000.
Scarf is a social enterprise that gets young asylum seekers into jobs while adding flavour and heart to the hospitality industry. Partnering with some of Melbourne’s best restaurants and venues, they run hospitality training, mentoring and paid work experience programs. Stomping Ground has been a proud partner since 2018, providing hosted dinners, covering trainees wages, providing training, fundraising activities and we’ve also committed to placing trainees in jobs at our venues.
