Collingwood beer hall FAQs

BOOKINGS

Yes, we love walk ins! Please head down to the Beer Hall any time and a member of our friendly team will do our best to find you a table as fast as possible.

We take online reservations for groups of 2-20 guests in the Beer Hall which includes all of the front and back bar areas.

We also take online reservations for groups of 2-18 in the Beer Garden/Cubby House Area. This area features heaters, a retractable roof which we close up on cold days, or open up when it’s sunny to let in some rays, and of course, our kids play area - the Cubby House.

We can also take a limited number of reservations for groups of 20-30 on an enquiry basis via collingwood@stompingground.beer

Please note, bookings of over 8 guests may be seated across two tables side by side. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience and will always do our best to seat all guests on the one table.

All areas are dog friendly!

Bookings are available throughout the day, 7 days a week. If you select a 9pm booking, we kindly request that you arrive promptly if you would like to order items from the main food menu and suggest that you have a quick look ahead of time here.

We do not accept same-day bookings on Saturdays.

If your preferred booking is unavailable, feel free to head down on the day and our team will do their best to find a spot for you as quickly as we can.

We now take bookings for groups of 2-18 in the Beer Garden/Cubby House area. Simply select the Beer Garden/Cubby Area booking type on our online reservation form.

Bookings of over 8 guests will be split across two tables next to each other, we apologise if this causes any inconvenience. Please note, some tables in the Beer Garden are closer to the Cubby House than others. If you'd like to be close to the Cubby House, please leave a note on your booking. While a front row seat to the madness might not always be possible, we’ll do our best to get you as close as possible.

We accept a limited number of large group bookings (up to 30 guests) each day. To enquire about these please get in touch via collingwood@stompingground.beer

Anything over 30 guests we book on a function basis. If you are interested in booking a function with us please submit an enquiry here.

Bookings are limited and in high demand. If you were unable to make a booking for your preferred date/time, you are welcome to head down on a walk-in basis. The team will do their best to find a spot for your and your crew as fast as possible.

Our tables are fixed in place and we therefore do not take bookings across multiple tables or spaces. If you are unable to book for your preferred number of people please contact the booking team at collingwood@stompingground.beer and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Alternatively, additional guests are welcome to attend on a walk-in basis but we cannot guarantee they will be able to sit in the same area as you have booked.

Not at this stage. However, if the table is not rebooked you are welcome to stay on! Alternatively, you can move to a walk-in area if there is space to do so. Please have a chat to our friendly staff and they will do their best to accommodate your request.

In accordance with federal and state government requirements, guests do not need to be vaccinated in order to visit. For further information or updates to the current COVID Safe guidelines, please visit www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au.

All ordering and payment can be done via the QR code on your table using your smartphone (see menu here) or at the bar.

We do not require a deposit to book, however, credit card details are required for all reservations.

Bookings with upgrades that incur a fee (for example, set menus) will be charged the full amount of these fees at the time of booking.

No other charges will be made, except in the event that your group is a no-show on the day. In this scenario, we will charge a $10pp cancellation fee to the card details on file.

If you need to cancel your casual booking for any reason, you can do so via the link in your booking confirmation email. If you have any questions, or did not receive a confirmation email at the time of booking, please email collingwood@stompingground.beer.

OTHER

People lose things in the Beer Hall all the time! Just fill in the form here and we’ll get back to you if we find it.

Yes, our Cubby House is open!

Of course! If you'd like us to cut and serve it for you we have a $2pp cakeage fee. If you're happy to do it yourself we'll happily provide a knife and plates, just let a member of the team know your preference.

You are welcome to bring decorations however we do not allow glitter, confetti or adhesives to be used. Sorry!

Stomping Ground strives to provide a relaxed and inclusive environment for all guests. We do not allow drinking games, inappropriate props or costumes, or antisocial behaviour/language, so if you're planning a traditional rowdy hen's buck's or pub crawl we may not be the best fit for you. However, if you are a group of friends wanting to enjoy some good foor and beer (and perhaps one of you is getting married soon) then we'd love to have you!

Please get in touch at collingwood@stompingground,beer and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
