Our Into the 'Wood Series showcases the wild, barrel-aged and refined beer crafted at our brewery in Collingwood, VIC 3066.
Many of these beers have been aged in a variety of spirit and wine barrels, others have been made with wild fermentation techniques, and others are beers you'll recognize (but only just).
Into the Wood is now widely available but this list will be updated regularly-if your local isn’t on here, ask them for it!

Pinot Noir Brett Saison - 750mL 6.5%
This farmhouse brett fermented ale has spent twelve months on Sunbury pinot noir skins from Noisy Ritual Urban Winery. With fresh acidity and a complex dry finish, expect notes of rosé with the weight of a light pinot noir.
Wild Ale Blend No. 1 - 750mL - 6.2%
A blend of three lambic-style ale batches from different years, fermented with brett and aged in pinot noir and shiraz barrels. Expect a balanced acidity, delicious funk and a complex dry finish.
Port Barrel-Aged Cream Ale - 750mL - 7.0%
This ale has spent fifteen months aging in port barrels and evolved into a complex and funky mix of brett, orange, coffee and port.
Shiraz Barrel-Aged Saison - 750mL - 6.5%
Pale gold in colour, this beer is complex yet easy drinking. Refreshingly tart citrus and peach flavours feature up front, coming through with a peppery lemon finish.
Belgian Dark Strong Ale - 375mL - 10.5%
A rich strong ale with aromas of toffee and caramel, this beer is rounded out by aromatic, spicy and floral notes. Complexity in a glass, this beer will evolve as it warms, each iteration as surprising and delightful as the last.
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout - 375mL - 10%
For those that are serious about their stouts, this beer is big and bold on all fronts. Featuring dark roasted notes of espresso, vanilla and oak, it has a full body and warming alcohol finish.
